Apple Watch saves yet another life, Tim Cook responds to his wife's email

 


HARYANA, INDIA - Apple Watch's electrocardiogram (ECG) feature has saved yet another life, this time it was the 34 years old Nitesh Chopra, from Haryana, India. After experiencing a chest pain, Chopra decided to take an ECG from his wife Neha's Apple Watch Series 6. Finding some irregularities in the result, Chopra was taken to a hospital for a detailed checkup followed by an angiogram, which revealed 99.9 percent blockage in his arteries. Bring grateful to Apple and their technology, Neha sent an email to Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, thanking him for helping her save her husband's life. 

"We reached the hospital only because of the technology provided by you and he is now fine and healthy. I wish you lots of love and happiness and thank you for giving my husband his life," said Neha in the email.

Tim Cook's response,

"I’m so glad you sought medical attention and received the treatment you needed. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Be well."

Following the surgery and a few days in the hospital, Nitesh Chopra was later discharged and he now keeps fine and healthy.
